Study Task 2- Environmental Storytelling- Brief+Chosen Environments

Environmental Storytelling

After getting this brief of environmental storytelling, it really made me think of how characters move through each location and how it has to move with their perspective. Post Office
This is a quick sketch i have done for this scene showing the medium i will be using as well as what
the style of the scene will be in. This lets me show how i will be showing the shading in the scene and how
i will include the details from small areas.
For this scene i have really taken into consideration the composition and how the door of this scene frames the overall scene, this means the character will be the main focal point if i were to add one in.
I will also show how the light moves with the scne so there is always an interesting shading on sections
but keeps to being focused on the detailed building i have chosen.

Abandoned Buildings
For this scene i will make sure to have the character moving to see the whole building as it is interesting
on both sides. I will do this location in fine liner as it helps me to get a lot of detail into each scene and
the building i have chosen has a lot going on that i need to show.
Royal Armouries
This building i will do for the interior scene. There is a lot going on in this building so i will need to
make sure i can still make it look like a whole scene overall and a character moving through one space.
This scene will be in biro so i can show lots of textures and shading on the scenes. This will be a hard
scene to do as biro takes a long time to build up into a finished scene so this is why i am saving lots of
time to do it in.
